MJR is the contemporary branding icon for the design and development practice comprising planning, architecture and interior design. Started in 2007 by Michael John Rudolph (formerly of Rudolph Lennard Beatty & Associates (1983–2006), the goal of MJR architects, planners and interior designers, is to concentrate on fresh, focused and innovative design threads in a rapidly-changing world.

Expert Design and Planning
A great love of proportion and scale dominates our work and the art of hand drawing leads the creative process. Only once the ‘idea has been found’ through pen and pad, are drawings committed to the computer. Our style is contemporary – modern and minimalist, yet always flavored with references to the local vernacular.
Award Winning Architecture
From simple and carefully proportioned homes in early years, came the demand for housing estates and the responsibility for the design and development of ‘Guidelines for Estates’. This is the backbone of our practice and continues to be one of our dominant focal points, gaining international attraction and awards.
Interior Design by Lulu Maison Boutique Studio
Working closely with Louise and Tanya of Lulu Maison, a boutique design studio in Cape Town, we take our spaces to the next level with texture, colour and fabrics and decorative detail. Together with our clients, we work to deliver their visions through our personalised and professional high quality work.

The Sanghrajka Family, owners of several highly successful businesses in Nairobi, wanted to develop a Private Estate on which to reforge the family connections
